Clippings and Correspondence, 1971
Scope and Contents
These files consist of newspaper clippings and any correspondence that related to the articles. The news clippings are all written by different authors and are from many different newspapers and magazines. Some of the correspondence is from individuals requesting more information about the Prairie Path after reading about it in one of the articles. This demonstrates how the IPP was publicized in cities around the state and country, as many of the correspondents were from out of state. This series also includes columns and news releases written by Louise Headen, the former publicity chair. Her column, titled Along the Path, highlighted upcoming events and happenings on the path. This series includes original versions of the column and news releases as well as published versions of the column.
