Series 2: Awards & Honors, 1967 - 2017

The Illinois Prairie Path has received local, county, state and national recognition for the hard work and dedication of founders and members throughout the years. Many of the awards honor May Watts, Jean and Paul Mooring, and the IPP in general for the vision and tireless effort to create a public green space from an abandoned railbed. These files contain newsletters, programs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, award certificates, tickets and photographs.
