Administrative History
The DuPage Textile Arts Guild was founded in 1972 to foster development in the fiber arts, encourage high standards of design and technique, and promote study of historic sources, artistic principles, and other subjects related to the fiber arts. Over its 45-year history, the volunteer organization published a regular newsletter (the DTAG Rag) and held a biennial fiber arts show in addition to other workshops and events. Due to declining membership, the organization voted to dissolve at the end of the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
