Alumni Association Board of Directors files, 1955 - 2003

This series includes Board of Directors minutes, executive committee minutes, activities committee minutes, and meeting agendas from 1989 through 2003. Also included are individual committee appointments of the Board of Directors. Meeting minutes include revisions of the constitution and by-laws, roll call of meetings, new officer elections, and reports from officers and committee members. Minutes discuss campus issues such as building needs and increased endowments needed. Additionally, the minutes include discussion regarding alumni gatherings and celebrations, both organized by the Office of Alumni Relations and those organized by the Board of Directors. The series includes information about the nominees for the Outstanding Alumni Award, although only for certain years. Biographies for possible board appointees are also included. The first file contains an administrative manual that details job descriptions for each committee member’s role as well as copies of the constitution and by-laws, and some materials included date back to 1955.
