100th Anniversary files, 1955 - 1961
Scope and Contents
This series consists of materials created as part of the Centennial anniversary celebration planning. Included in this series are agendas, minutes, and reports from most of the anniversary committees, as well as publications and event programs. The bulk of the files were compiled by Harvey Siemsen, the then Vice-President of the College and Director of Planning for the anniversary. Also in this series is a manuscript of the ultimately published history of the College (North Central College: A Century of Liberal Education by Clarence N. Roberts, 1961). Additionally, files compiled by several individuals who were very active in the planning of the celebration are included in this series; namely Ruth Gamertsfelder (an active alumna) and Clarence Roberts (professor of history).

Processing Information
The base collection of the College Archives had no inherent order. The Archives created this series out of the base collection in 1999. Provenance has been maintained through folder titles when possible. Due to the immense undertaking by the College in planning this specific anniversary, the 100th Anniversary files have been separated from other North Central College Anniversary files.
