Correspondence, 1986-1990

This series contains the library committee’s meeting minutes, correspondence, papers, and reports (with gaps from 1963-1968 and 1992-1998). Meeting minutes discuss the library budget, holdings, departmental allocations, shelving arrangements, and policies and procedures. Correspondence between committee members, often referring to committee meetings, is also included in this series. In addition to deciding the budget, holdings, and policies of the library, the committee also hosted programs for faculty and staff, the papers of which are in the “Programs” folder. These programs include a faculty workshop, given in 1982, which gave faculty an opportunity to express concerns about the library.
