NCC: Terrence Marsh Biology Research Trips slide collection

Terrence Marsh, a professor of biology at North Central College from 1969-2002, received the Harold and Eva White Distinguished Professor in the Liberal Arts in 1998. In over thirty years at the college, Marsh was well-known for taking his students on research trips across the country. These trips were taken over interim, spring break, and other various college breaks. Professor Marsh took groups of ecology and biology students to study many different eco-systems including deserts, marine, and marshlands. The group’s destinations included: New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Orland Park, Cook County, Lisle, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Honduras, Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas. The groups visited places such as the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, the Grand Canyon National Park, and the Gulf Coast Research Facility.
