NCC: Women's Athletic Association records
Scope and Contents
This collection includes meeting minutes from the women’s athletic association as well as the constitution of the association and amendments made to it. Each of the minutes start off with a roll call and list who was present and who was absent from the meeting. The minutes at the beginning of the series included the nominating committee and their choices for W.A.A. officers, as well as the sports included in this association and corresponding seasons. Monthly minutes discuss budgetary matters for the month and events such as tournaments and award banquets.

Biographical / Historical
The Women’s Athletic Association was formed in 1928 and the nominating committee consisted of the heads of physical education department. The association was for women students, both living on campus and commuters. The association was an intramural sports league.
