Biographical / Historical
Through a joint faculty-student committee in 1957, a permanent board, the College Activities Board (CAB) was formed to act as the main governing body over the college’s social program. Over the years, this organization has also been known as the College Activities Student Union Board (CASUB), Student Union Board (SUB), the College Union Board (CUB), and the Alumni College Union Board (ACUB). The College Union Activities Board (CUAB) organized on- and off-campus events and acts as a clearinghouse for other student organizations seeking funding and event coordination. Starting in the Fall Semester of 2019, CUAB does not appear in the College Catalog. The Weekend Programming Board (WPB) began planning some of the activities once planned by CUAB at this time.
