NCC: Student Affairs Office records
Scope and Contents
This collection contains records from the Student Affairs Office from 1954 to 1986. The Student Affairs Office is one of the College’s tools to support the total development of its students. These files contain information about housing, food service, career development, international students and studies, religion and religious life in the form of meeting minutes, agenda, and fliers. Documents related to events handled by the Office of Student Affairs during this time period, such as freshmen orientation and convocation are also present. Selected files from the Dean of Students, the Student Affairs Office, and the Registrar’s Office are in this series, as are records from the parental council committee and the Student Affairs committee. The Student Affairs Committee, 1964-1968, was known by different names during its existence. From 1968-1971 it was called the Student Life Council and absorbed the responsibility of the Student Publications Board. It was known as the Student Life Committee from 1971-1976. From 1976-1980 it was called the Student Affairs Board.

Conditions Governing Access
Due to privacy concerns, two folders in Box 2 are restricted. They are titled: “Facility Master Plans, 1984-1985,” and “International Students – Institute of International Education applicants, 1965-1977.”
