An infirmary was built on campus in 1925. A college nurse is first listed in the College Catalog in 1933. In 1949, there was a health office in the basement of Old Main, staffed by a nurse with limited hours offered by local doctors. The College Catalog first mentioned a Counseling Office in 1980.
