Scope and Contents

This collection contains resources about cultural events and speakers brought to campus. This includes brochures and fliers promoting academic and cultural events on campus. Schedules and programs from cultural events including Convocation, Lecture Courses, the Artists Series, and Special Events, and the Fine Arts Festival are also present. Some schedules combined activities on campus from different groups. There are also meeting minutes from the committee overseeing events in Pfeiffer Hall and correspondence and files from the coordinator of cultural events.

Processing Information

The base collection of the College Archives had no inherent order. The Archives created this collection out of the base collection around 2004. An additional accession in 2017 (accession number: 2017-28) from the files of the cultural events coordinator was processed in August 2025. Folder titles from the 2017 accession were retained when feasible.
