This collection consists of the final printed monograph that results from each year’s competition. In some years there were no applicants, so no publication was produced.

Biographical / Historical
The Undergraduate Archives Research Publication collection was created by Oesterle Library in 2003 and was maintained by the North Central College Archives. Authors had to be enrolled as a NCC undergraduate in the current school year and the sole author of the manuscript. Manuscripts were submitted for evaluation by an editorial board consisting of the Archivist, the Dr. C. Frederick Toenniges Professor of History, the Clare and Lucy Oesterle Director of Library Services, and the Director of the College Honors Program (formerly the Director of the Office of Academic Opportunities). The editorial board selected one paper to be published as a monograph. The Undergraduate Archives Publication was printed annually as a booklet.
