Series 7: Videotape Files, 1985 - 1998

The videotapes were recorded by the Washington, D.C. and District Office staff and maintained at those offices. The majority of the videos were taped from television show or C-SPAN coverage of the House of Representatives Floor. The topics covered include House Floor debates and votes, network television news coverage, and current events television shows (i.e., "20/20," "Meet the Press"). Videos created by staff also include footage of Congressman Fawell's talks to classes and ceremonies. The videotapes are all VHS format. They are arranged separately by creating office, then chronologically. The District Office maintained year only information, whereas the Washington, D.C. Office usually maintained original airdates. It is likely that most of these videotapes are subject to copyright restrictions.
