Washington Workshop Students, May 3, 1988
Scope and Contents
The photographs were taken by various photographers, including official congressional and White House photographers. Typical subjects include visits to 13th District schools, congressional interns, visits to businesses and conferences within the 13th District, congressional hearings and press conferences, and constituents with Congressman Fawell. Also included are photographs of Congressman Fawell alone that appear to be designed for possible public relations use. These photographs are divided into three separate categories: photographs, photocopies, and negatives. The photographs include black and white and color prints, color slides, and contact sheets. The photocopies are placed after the photographs and include images for which only a photocopy was available. The negatives are in Box 5, due to differing storage requirements. The negatives occasionally match the photographs, but more often images are not available. No photographs from 1996 were included in the collection transferred to the Archives. The arrangement is chronological with the year only identification prior to the specifically dated photographs, with undated materials following everything. Some of these photographs may be subject to copyright restrictions.
