Thank You Letters, June 1992-November 1993
Scope and Contents
The Constituent Tour Files include guest books, desk planners, and thank-you letters. Congressman Fawell's constituents, who had arranged through his office for tours in Washington D.C., usually stopped by the congressman's office during their visits and signed the guest book. The desk planners were calendars kept by Congressman Fawell's office to schedule the constituents' visits to the congressional office. The tour scheduling cards, controlled and distributed by the U.S. House of Representatives, indicated the number of tickets and the time slots on the Capitol tour, allotted to the office. The thank-you letters were sent by the constituents upon their return home.
