1963-October 1969

This series consists of press releases issued by the Office of Marketing and Communication/ Public Relations Office/Office of Public Information from 1963 through 2005. The releases serve to announce and report on events set to occur on the North Central campus including sports, music and theater productions, new classes, awards ceremonies, faculty/staff retirements and additions, academic trips abroad, and guest speakers. Because the Press Releases are arranged chronologically, all of the above topics are intermingled.

A log of the press releases created by the Office as the releases were created provides the date of the release, topic or title of the release, and author. Nominally this log covers June 1984 through February 1990, and July 1993 through July 1997. However, there are chronological gaps within these documents and in many cases the information included is incomplete or unclear. Therefore, while these logs can provide some subject level access to the series, they should not be considered a complete or accurate catalog.
