NCC: Alumni directories
Scope and Contents
Alumni Directories run from 1921 to 1997 but were published very irregularly. Prior to 1921, lists of alumni are occasionally included in the college catalogue. The content of the Directories has varied and expanded since 1921, but they all contain, at minimum, an alphabetical listing of alumni, a listing of alumni by class year, and a geographic listing. From 1921 to 1980, the listing of alumni by class year is the first listing in the Directories with alphabetical and geographical cross reference lists following. After 1980, the alphabetical listing is first in the directory. Specific biographical information, such as occupation, degree received, current address, and, if applicable, spouse’s name is found in the first listing in each Alumni Directory. The Alumni Directories usually include deceased alumni, either in a separate list or within the listing hich includes alumni biographical details. Individuals who attended North Central College, but did not graduate, are included in the Alumni Directories beginning in 1980. Information regarding the Alumni Association, college historical overviews, and campus maps are also included in various directories.
