Scope and Contents Alumni Directories run from 1921 to 1997 but were published very irregularly. Prior to 1921, lists of alumni are occasionally included in the college catalogue. The content of the Directories has varied and expanded since 1921, but they all contain, at minimum, an alphabetical listing of alumni, a listing of alumni by class year, and a geographic listing. Scope and Contents The College’s alumni publications have had a variety of formats and have covered alumni news in varying degrees. The first alumni publication, Alumni Chronicle, a monthly newspaper launched in 1923, focused on campus events, with only limited information on alumni. The second alumni publication, Alumni News, was launched in 1926 as a quarterly newspaper and included additional personal news on alumni. Scope and Contents Each Annual Report contains a brief narrative overview of the year, containing information on enrollment, faculty, programs, projects, registration, and tuition. The focus, however, is mainly on the financial status of the College. Along with a breakdown of the College’s financial status, the Annual Report also contains a listing of individual and corporate donors. This series contains Graduate Program Catalogs from 1988, with the exception of 1989 through 1993 which are missing. The catalogs include general information and requirements for the Graduate Program, as well as detailed requirements and class listings for each master’s program. Publication periods vary, but the Graduate Program Catalogs were published either annually or every other year.
