NCC: Continuing Education catalogs

North Central College began providing evening classes in 1959. The Evening College was known by many names over the years, including North Central College’s “Evening Division” and the “Evening School.” In 1981, the Weekend College at the Naperville campus was established, and classes were later offered at the St. Charles and Schaumburg locations (until the satellite campuses’ eventual termination in 2000). Both programs listed under these names ended following the 2001-2002 academic year. Summer sessions at North Central College began in 1942, allowing high school seniors to earn credit hours before starting their freshman year of college, and upperclassmen at North Central to make up classes and/or graduate early.
