NCC: Spectrum and Chronicle photographs
Scope and Contents
These photographs captured life on the North Central Campus from 1986-1999. The majority of the photographs are from 1994-1998. Photographs document student clubs, athletics, events, academic buildings, and students and faculty and staff on campus.
Some photographs appeared in the 1986, 1992, 1994, and 1995 Spectrum yearbooks. These photographs had tags adhered to the bottom or back of the photograph for the yearbook printer, Jostens. These tags contained the page number, position number on page, and the percentage the photograph should be reproduced in the yearbook.
Some photographs appeared in the 1992-1999 issues of the Chronicle. These photographs had the page number and percentage for reproduction listed on the back of the photograph.
Other photographs had the event and/or individual in the photograph identified on the back of the photograph but no other marks. Marks such as those described for Spectrum and Chronicle photographs were not present, so these photographs may or may not have been used or published in either student publication. Other photographs had no identifying marks.
Some photographs appear to have come from other offices on campus and were not taken by Chronicle or Spectrum staff photographers.
There are negatives from approximately ten rolls of film, and a folder with documents related to the production of the yearbook.
