The catalogs include general information and requirements for the Graduate Program, as well as detailed requirements and class listings for each master’s program. Publication periods vary, but the Graduate Program Catalogs were published either annually or every other year.

Volume 1 (1859-1867) of Rassweiler’s personal journals include the years that he taught in a public school and was a student at North-Western College in Plainfield, Illinois. Lecture notes, quizzes, tests, and final exams created by Harold White are included in this collection. Papers are separated by class and divided into “Notes and Tests” and “Final Exams”. Many of White’s notes are lecture notes for classes and drafts of tests. Most of the tests and final exams written by White have two versions, either an A/B or odd/even, with two copies of each retained.
